I am snookered and am just waiting my time to go into a PIA... i earn €50k per annum in an accounts position and have applied for a job in Revenue but the pay is almost €20k less.
Granted I might not even get considered but if I did would now be a good time given that I cant pay the mortgages anyway.
Long term I would expect to earn more with Revenue than where I am now as this is a dead-end job going nowhere but it isnt exactly a good time to move when you can barely pay interest on 4 mortgages. Feel very trapped by it all.
