Safe wont open - any bright ideas?

Have one of these for a few years

The circular release handle (on the left of the keypad) has stopped working (safe is closed). Its just spinning around with no traction. Regardless of whether I put in the code, or use the overriding key, the thing wont open.

Seeing as my passport is inside, and im off on holidays in 2 weeks, timing is not ideal :(

Any ideas?

Try a good reputable locksmith, its a Yale so they usually have a code or codes to release and reset the mechanism

I know there's a place on Dame Street in Dubllin - not sure of the name but if you contacted them they maybe able to offer advice. Try googling locksmith, dame street dublin. They've been there for years. Sorry can't be better help.

There is (or used to be - not sure if it's gone now?) another lock specialist on West Essex Street just off Parliament Street at the Turk's Head.
