Ryanair Refund on Outward flight so far

Hi, new to askaboutmoney but we were due to travel in May to Faro with Ryanair for 1 week. This trip has originally been due in 2020 but was rescheduled at additional cost from least year due to pandemic. Having waited patiently until flights are drawing near (6w away) I received an email from Ryanair today offering option of rescheduling only the outward flight or refund,this would currently only be for outward leg..no detail/mention of return leg yet. Does anyone know if they will offer return leg also in about another week? Value of flights due to additional rescheduling costs approx 1.5K. All advice welcome,TIA
 
Flights we’re booked together and subsequently rescheduled together, forgot to mention in original post I took out travel insurance with Ryanair at the time..
 
Have you got MyRyanair and does it show up under trips there ? It sounds like they are giving you an option to change but that the flight is still going should you not want to. Try 'booking' the flight as a newbie and see if it's either full or cancelled. It may be that there is great demand for that flight and they want to see if somebody will change.
