Hi all,
I was on a flight from Dublin to Bristol last Saturday. We got diverted to Cardiff airport. We were stuck on the runway for 1.5 hours to wait for the pilot to make calls back to Bristol airport as to why they were closed. Then the pilot ordered all passengers to disembark the plane and told us that we would have bus transport back to Bristol airport. The transport did not arrive until 21.30pm approx and we only had vending machines at this airport. The ground staff only provided tea, coffee and biscuits all day.
We arrived at Bristol airport at 11.46pm approximately. We got a taxi to the hotel and arrived at 12.15am from the airport to the hotel.
Does anyone know what my rights are in this situation? There was no vouchers provided or refreshments given on the plane on the runway at Cardiff airport.
There is no categories on their website for this also.
To add: we were supposed to be in Bristol airport for 14.45pm approx.
Thank you!

Bristol closed their runway last Saturday for safety reasons. Seems damage was noticed and in order to ensure safety of passengers, the runway was closed for inspection by qualified engineers.

If you bought a reasonably priced dinner, you could possibly claim that back.

Any other losses would need to be claimed from travel insurance.
