Rush and Lusk

Does anyone know what the story is with parking in Rush and Lusk station?

I've heard that you have to be there before 7.30am to get a spot but was out there last week viewing a house and there were lots of cars parked in a field beside the train station, does anyone know if this is allowed?

Or if there is anywhere else close to the station you could park?

There is a second car park on the Lusk side of the station completed but not yet open due to the fact that a 'pole' (not a Pol ) is blocking access and has to be moved first by ESB/Telecom.

I don't know what the status is of the cars in the field. To get into the station parking proper, you will generally need to be at the station by 7:30.
They have to improve access before they can open the existing new car park. I think that requires more than just the moving of an ESB pole. They've also bought one of the cottages next to the station, and will be using this to expand the car park. I have no idea what the time frame is on either.
