Yet another friend and colleague has been made redundant- a solicitor, she is now thinking of retraining as a primary school teacher.

With an honours law degree ( and AFAIK all honours leaving cert subjects back in the dark ages ;)) what is her best route? Is there a shorter postgrad route or does she have to go back and do a BEd?

Hibernia College is one option:

She's too late (this year) for M.I.C.E.:

She doesn't have to do the full B.Ed. if her basic degree is acceptable .... the easiest route is probably via Hibernia ... online tuition (with some face to face tuition), very well presented, teaching practise part of the course, project work etc.
