Polanski was found guilty of the crime more than 30 years ago, after pleading guilty.

He skipped before sentencing, so that is all that remains outstanding.

If it was a Catholic priest on the run after 30 years, I think Hollywood's reaction would be very different.

He is convicted of a sex crime with a 13 year old girl - he should spend the rest of his years in a very uncomfortable place
