Take a look at Boards.ie. Loads of stuff there in relation to the ripwave service. It really depends on where you are, as well as other factors.
It's a service that has fans and also a lot of unhappy customers. Have you been in touch with Irish Broadband to find out if you can get it (ie Ripwave)?
btw, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
This is the boards.ie forum that you should look at. Unlike , is a lot more limited in terms of availability at the moment. I have heard mixed reports about it in terms of connection reliability, throughput etc. but I don't have first hand experience. I have found that the throughput on Breeze can vary significantly although I have not yet experienced any major disruptions to service otherwise. Hopefully [broken link removed] will start getting deployed in 2005 to complement or replace these wireless broadband offerings.
