put 2 cars through the NCT recently. In neither case was I asked for the licencing cert.
If I was of a mind (which I'm not) couldnt I stick my plates on a "ringer" (same model car and colour) which is in better nick/which has recently passed the test?
I know you could check by chassis number but if they dont look for the info I dont see how they could know (or maybe they punch the codes into a computer unknown to us to match chassis no & plate)??
