Rights of a minority shareholder

Can anybody tell me what my rights are as a 12.5% shareholder in a private Irish company is or point me to a good website.

If you don't mind reading a legal text book with extensive material on the subject, you should get hold of a copy of Ronan Keane's "Company Law". The fourth edition is the most up to date. The Author is the former Chief Justice of Ireland and an authority on Commercial law.

In that edition, chapters 23-26, and in particular Chapter 26 - "Majority and Minority Rights" will tell you what you need to know.

Borrow rather than buy, however. It's VERY expensive to buy new.
