FYI - I just received notice from Revolution that they will be discontinuing direct debits from the local GBP account details. This will impact the HMRC payments which were nice and smoothly being taken each month from my account..

Yes, I got the same message from Revolut. GBP direct debits are being discontinued. Very disappointing. I closed my Barclays current a/c some years ago because Revolut's functionality, which included what was effectively a GBP current a/c, was so handy. Now Revolut are taking away this functionality and I need to figure out an alternative for the occasional GBP DDs that I still have.
