Revenue returning scanned copies instead of the original tax documents

I opened a savings account with Rietumu in November 2024. I’m concerned that they will reject the scanned tax documents that the Revenue returned to me instead of the original document I had forwarded to them to complete. Rietumu stated on the form, that they don't accept scanned copies. I was instructed by Raisin Customer Service to sign the scanned copies in blue ink and to forward them on, but they informed me that it was at Rietumu’s discretion as to whether or not the forms would be accepted. I was wondering if anyone here has sent Rietumu scanned tax documents, and if there were any issues on the maturation of the funds? I saw some discussions about it concerning BluOr, but nothing for Rietumu.

Contact the Revenue and request the original signed documents be sent to you in the post. It wouldn't be unusual for a financial institution to request a 'wet' ink signature on a document.

I did, several times via 'my enquiries' and on the phone and they still returned scanned copies, and not the original. I am hoping the 'wet ink' signatures on the copies will be accepted.

I had similar so what I did was send 2 copies of the document both signed along with a note requesting one original to be returned and that's what I got back.
