Revenue keep losing info .... (Medical Tax Claim)

We have been trying to make a personal medical expenses claim for our family with the revenue for 6 months now for 2012 ...

Firstly, our ROS online system ran out of space so we can no longer submit docs etc manually .... and are forced to send in docs etc in hard copy ...

When we ring up we are told 'its probably here somewhere but you should send it in again to be on the safe side' even though we spoke to someone else last week who had the doc in their hand .....

Every time we call (and wait on a premium phone line number from 10-40 minutes) we have to deal with someone else who writes to us to ask for the same info in a different way ...

There must be an easier way to do this ! Is there a code of practice they must follow ? Is there a complaints process ? Help !
 
I would always send important items via registered post.

I know your claim relates to 2012, but today is the ROS 2013 income tax filing deadline and this week would be very busy in Revenue.
 
Thanks Steiner ... we have been trying to deal with for a long time (over 6 months) its not just this week :)
 
thanks Sue ... do you or anyone else know what Revenue's obligations are ?
