I returned to work in October and ceased receiving carers allowance at that time. I notified Revenue and they said they made the appropriate changes to my record. I just got my tax cert for 2022 and it has two references to carers that I don't understand:
1. Tax credits were reduced by €897 for DSP carers income. Not sure where this relatively small figure came from.
2. Under the tax rate band, it says my rate band was decreased by carers income @ ~4.5k.
Would that make sense to have reference to carers on my tax cert for next year?
