Expat returning to Ireland after 20 years abroad to finish out my career. Looking for some advice on how to allocate savings and investments given I am moving from a low to a high tax regime, especially when it comes to passive investing. Most financial advisors and tax specialists seem to be focused on Irish-based use cases, and don't have much of an international focus. Are there firms out there can take a look at one's situation and advise on an appropriate course of action for someone relocating to Ireland from East Asia? There are two aspects, one being short term advice on appropriate tax planning, and the other being longer term advice on retirement planning. Advice on either or both would be great.
