You should contact the Law Society. I'm sure they can advise although it's surprising your solicitor hasn't.

Thanks thats a good idea. As you say I think my own solictor could be a bit more proactive. Hopefully 20 phone calls to him each day may help!!!

Are you willing to pay them extra for the extra work involved in dealing with 20 telephone calls a day?

The loan offer has a one month deadline and the papers to complete the transaction are unavailable. What makes you think you will be able to get the documents in such a short space of time? What date did you get the loan offer? When did you sign contracts?
