Restore to certain time and day

Trying to restore laptop to certain point but it only give a few options which are no good as time is to late,and when I create new restore point this new point is only very recent, is the a way to do a restore point to yesterday for eg, to a certain time and date I want, I have acer laptop,cheers

no, restore points are created as a snapshot in time, if no snapshot was taken just prior to the time you need then you're out of luck.

If you need to find a deleted file, you can try the un-delete feature in software like Glary Utilities.

A restore point won't generally find a data file, like a document or a spreadsheet. System restore is about rolling back on any new software you installed or new drivers that were downloaded. It won't get back a data file.
