Anyone know what current status is of this bill

Residential Tenancies (Right to Purchase) Bill​

I can’t find anything online since it was stalled middle of last year. Did it come in? Nothing on any of the sites. Thanks.

It seems to have died a death. It was going through the Dail when the previous government was in power, but the current government seem to have dropped it.

That said, it is always possible it will be resurrected in its current form or in a different form at some point - just the way things are going; if you can sell at all, it must be to your tenant.

All Bills currently before the Oireachtas lapse when the Oireachtas is dissolved. They may be reintroduced after the election but, if they are, they start the parliamentary process from step 1 again. Or, they may not be reintroduced after the election.
