replacement for incap benefit

Hi,
could someone tell me whether the new benefit to replace incapacity benefit will now be means-tested ? My wife has been receiving incapacity benefit for several years and now has to fill in one of the new questionnaire forms. If it is decided that she still qualifies physically for benefit, can she be then told that she will not receive anything because my income is above a certain level ? This what we have been told unofficially by a friend who actually works in a job centre, though I can't see anything to this effect in any of the official information that I've read.

Are you based in the UK? Your use of "incapacity benefit" and "job centre" suggest that you might be.
