Repair blinds

The blinds at the front of my house are beginning to get worn looking from being in the sun (when we have it). I would like to replace the "frill" at the bottom as it is disintegrating. Can I do this myself or is there somewhere in Cork that does it? It probably wouldn't be an easy job as it doesn't go straight across i.e. it does up and down in curves. Thanks

It might depend where you bought the blind. Munster Blinds Ltd on the Killumney Road certainly "re-scalllop" but would the material have to match?

i know my blind company offered a free once off retrim on all my blinds for life, also was told if i changed the colour scheme etc in any room they would redo the fabric bit at 40% of a discount as I had the pole, fittings etc. (in galway)
