Hi all
Bit of advice needed.
We’re looking at renting out our house. It’s on a tracker and the mortgage states we have to be the PPRs of the house to keep the tracker. We have tenants who we know and they are keen to rent the house. We will give up the mortgage interest relief (in the hope the bank doesn’t notice) and the teannts will want to claim back rent relief at the end of the year.
They want to lodge the address as a company address.
I’m not sure what to do. It would be handy to rent to them as we know them and it would be fairly straightforward. However, I’m not sure does them lodging our address as their company address cause any issues? They wouldn’t actually be working out of the address, but they said they needed to lodge the address of wherever they’re living for Revenue purposes.
Not sure am I explaining myself enough here, but hopefully someone can help.
