I am looking for some advice I have an apt that I am currently about to rent out as I have had to move home. I am unsure of my obligations regarding revenue etc... I am not yet registered with PRTB,I will be renting out apt at less than my mortgate amount (rent 550 and mortage 850) and I am on the higher tax bracket. Do I pay the NPPR as I dont have a second property but wont be living in ppr?? any help on this would be great also know of someone willing to rent but wants to receive rent allowance???

This post should really be in "property investments and tenants rights" thread.

Rather than someone just posting the much-repeated information available on that thread it would better if you spend a few hours reading the many posts therein.

Go to Revenue.ie and read the information on renting /rental income ( IT70 - is the section on rental income rules and regulations)
PLUS
Look at PRTB.ie -which refers to many rules and regulations concerning letting/renting.

there are many other sites such as citizensadvice.etc

Daisy13 - Despite knowing someone who wants to rent your place , please know that the rental business is fraught with many problems- and the govnt is making it more difficult each year with rules and regulations. It is essential that you spend some time reading the info in the above and other sources- and the many anecdotes in AAM's posts which reveal the difficulties you may have with tenants and how tough it can be sort them out.

I'm being deliberately pessimistic so that you will not be one of the tens of thousands of people who entered the rental market with their eyes closed and are now regretting it.
