Renting house and TRS

Hi all,

Thinking of renting out my house for a couple of years, I'm aware I'll loose my TRS once the house is rented.

My question is: Is it possible to get TRS again after a couple of years renting the house out? I plan on moving back in after 2 years.

I think that once you revert to being an owner occupier you should be able to claim the relief but it might be worth noting that TRS is being abolished on a phased basis anyway so you may have only a few years left or it may be a moot issue depending on when you took your mortgage out:
