Rental property used for business purposes

Not sure if this is the correct forum but I’ve recently been made aware that my rental property is being used as a business address. The property comprises of over an acre of ground and some of the land is also used for business purposes. I have no problem with this arrangement but would be interested to know if anyone has any experience of this, or if there are any legal/ insurance/ contract issues involved.

This topic has been covered extensively. Use the search facility. The issues arising are commercial premises rates liability, planning law contraventions, commercial lease and stamp duty and VAT liabilities, appropriateness or adequacy of existing insurance, etc.
