Rental Income -House in wife's name

I have an investment property in my own name but myself and my wife are named on the mortgage.
My wife is at home with our 2 kids at present.
Is it possible to transfer the house to my wifes name and declare the income through her name to be more efficient on our tax Bill

I doube that your mortgager would allow this, you would need to check with them.
