Renovation Contractor - Dublin

I am looking for a renovation/building contractor to assist me in renovating our house. The job will mainly involve rewiring, replumbing, renovating sash windows & shutters, putting in a new internal stairs, coving/skirting/architaves, plastering walls, renovating existing doors, and some other smaller bits & bobs. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone knows any reliable, honest and inexpensive firm that you have experience of. The job is in the south city area. Thanks

I'm just in the middle (well, slightly past the middle) of a similar renovation job (also in south Dublin) and I'm v happy with my contractor. I got three quotes and his was the best (as well as the most detailed, which made budgeting much easier) and I'm also v happy with the guys working for him and the standard of job they're doing.

We used the same contractor as dubgem (I may have recommended him, not sure!) and he was FANTASTIC! Not a single complaint about the quality of the work, price or the people who worked in the house. He also had loads of great ideas for the finish which really worked and gav our house that bit of umph! No affiliation whatsoever other than a very happy customer.

Ask for Shane. They did a great job with our renovating and their price was below all the other quotes we received. Ther was no delay in anything and we are very happy with the finished job!!
