Laya Renewed on 1st January - do I have till Jan 15th to change mind

My policy renewed on January 1st, there is a 14 days cooling off period. Laya said that was up to Jan 14th, but I thought it would be Jan 15th?
What do you think?

According to the Health Insurance Authority, it says within first 14 days for cancelling.

Can I change my mind after buying health insurance? You can cancel your health insurance contract within 14 days of commencement and receive a full refund of premiums. No claims will be paid for the 14 days.

Regardless, with Laya healthcare you can switch to another Laya plan at any time outside of renewal date.
The 14 day cooling off time means outside of that time you can't switch to VHI or Irish Life.
