Was lookin at gettin a tdi car for roughly 7/8 grand and this seems about the best bet regarding all extras, and then mileage etc can any1 give any refernces to their thoughts??
 
Meganes have a "mixed" record on reliability and build quality.

The electrics can cause terrible trouble too.
 
go for avensis diesel.renaults are not worth the $$$$
 
Different class of car though. Avensis is much bigger, and presumably pricier.
 
Majestic, as a taxicab. So boring though. There must be a better car?
 
dont fancy spendin a fortune but would rather a diesel as travel 4 work. megane seems as good as anythin else around the 7/8 grand mark. seats,vw etc a lot more expensive
 
Funny that u mention it but am lookin at Peugeots also, a 1999-306 1.9 diesel(5grand) and a 2001- 206 2,0 hdi(7grand)

its kinda narrowed down to these two along with the megane.
