Looking at the recent hike in interest rates and with more of them coming in, we are thinking of fixing our interest rate for atleast one year. Currently we are on tracker rate with IIB. Interest rate is 3.44% (3.5% APR). I want to make sure if this is the right time the fix the rates hence I am seeking the advice of all.
Husband's pay is 48,900 pa. Am currently unemployed.
Mortgage outstanding 2,12,000 approx. (29 years to go). No loans thankfully.
Can anyone tell me of good deals out there.
will I be doing the right thing by fixing the rate.
