Hi all.
I know this question has been asked before from a google search, but I'm still a bit vague.

Basically, we're moving back to Ireland after some years in the UK. I have secured employment.
My husband's company want him to stay on and work remotely from home, and visit the site for about 3 days per month.

It seems to me from the research I've done is that we'd have to do the self assessment form and basically check if his liability to Irish tax is higher, and if so pay the difference.

It's hassle, as we also have 2 children so his pay will be eaten up mostly if not all with childcare costs, but he likes what his does, and of course childcare doesn't stay as high indefinitely.

However, I'm also unclear if he can transfer his credits to me. My pay is €60k a year, and his is about the equivalent of €28k. So a chunk of my pay is liable to tax at 41% unless he can transfer some tax credits to me.
Advice welcome.
