As the title asks, any suggestions for Regular Savings A/C for a Child? Time to start the college fund especially if they the fees keep rising.

I have, just thought their might be specific options that are aimed at kids.

There are children's accounts.

Do you want the account in the child's name or your name?

AIB pay 2.25% AER variable up to 1,000 EUR in a child savings account.
Ulster Bank pay 1.15% AER variable with no cap with these products.
State Savings have a 6 year instalment savings account labelled as ChildCare Plus. 0.98% AER tax free.
