Wouldn’t be a box issue to try for 1 month - how much typically do you expect to earn ? What will your expenses be ?
100 euro per night ?
I might be totally kidding myself, won't know until I try, but I've heard you can make that. Basically happy to give it a shot, I have nothing to lose, but I'll wait til the Revenue answers me back about how to declare it.
It's really not that complicated. If your taxable non PAYE income is less than 5000 euro per year, just declare it in you and your spouse's joint tax return next year. It's a form 12 submitted via my account. It will take about 10 minutes.

Thanks, so my wife can do a form 12 covering my Uber work as part of our joint tax return? Or it still has to be an individual thing. Not used to joint taxation because we're from Scotland and it's all individual there.
If it turns out I do Uber for longer, and my earnings pass 5000, then I see we need form 11 instead.
In either case though, any forms or registration we need to do before I start work, or it's all sorted out at the end of the year?
Btw, never heard nixer before
