Registering as self employed for low income job

Hi,
I just wanted to ask some advise. Im currently a SAHM but an opportunity has come up to work from home but I must register as self employed. The rate per hour for this job is very basic at €13per hour with between 10-20 hours work.
Before entering into any agreement with this company or taking this further I want to check my legal and financial obligations (VAT, Income tax, PRSI, USC etc).

There are a lot of "work from home" schemes around that promise much and deliver very little, nothing or end up costing you!
Do your research before signing up to anything!
