redundancy rebate?

hi,

ive just been told that im being made redundant something in the next couple of months. i have being reading information on getting a rebate. it says that i can make a claim to the department within 6 months of being made redundante and get 60 percent of my redundancy payement back. is this true??

i think i read that wrong. its your employer that can claim the 60 percent rebate??

Yes - nothing to do with the employee as it's a rebate to employers.
