Redundancy - Missing out on Maternity Benefit

I am pregnant and am being made redundant during the summer (company is closing down). Unfortunately, I will just miss out on getting maternity benefit by 4 weeks, as my redundancy date is 20 weeks before my due date (I understand that you can take maternity leave 16 weeks before due date). Is there any (legal!) way around this, it is killing me that I am missing out by such a small margin.

MB would be payable from day after that on P45. Would payment in lieu of holdiays extend that date to bring it within the 4 weeks, by any chance?

I wouldn't have enough holidays but even if I did would that be an option? If the company is closing down on say June 30th, then if I had 4 weeks holidays would this bring my finish date up to the end of July? I wondered if I could use parental leave for the extra month ... not sure it this is an option if the compnay is closing down.

The P45 date would have to show the last date that salary/wages was paid so unless the parental leave was paid leave ...
