Redundancy entitlements at 72.

Not asking for myself, but a redundancy type situation might arise owing to circumstances outside the employers control.
Would an employee aged 72, 54 years with the same employer be entitled to redundancy?
And how to calculate it?
Given that they are also getting the full contributary pension.
I don't have a clue of this employees wages.
 
No redundancy payment after age of 66 was removed in 2007, employee is entitled to at minimum statutory redundancy, calculator here:

With those rough figure at 500 a week, would be 50k or so due. This is the absolute minimum by law, most decent employers would pay more than this.
