Recorded programme won't play to the end - upc

I recorded a programme with a recording time of 95 minutes or so.

When it got to 66 minutes, it automatically jumped back to 44 minutes.

I fast forwarded but as soon as it hit 66 it jumped back again to 44.

Have I inserted some marker by accident?
