Recommendations for a walking pad.

Having seen @Sarah Ryan mention in this post about a walking pad have decided to look for recommendations for a good brand which doesn't break the bank and would probably be inclined to go for cheap and cheerful if possible.

Daughter has used them in the past and says they are useless!! Did see one advertised in Aldi a while ago but they sold out within a very short time. The pads available on Amazon don't seem to be that much dearer and could use relative's Prime to get it delivered free of charge.

Found it too hard to get required number of steps in per day during the wet weather a while back and would imagine that its going to be a common enough problem in the future.

Any recommendations for brand, price, if handrails are necessary, raised platform or not? Did have treadmills in the past but don't have the space for one now.

Thanks.

I have this one from Amazon uk:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F23JW5WY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_title

It's sturdy, works well, exactly as depicted, easy to adjust the handle bar up/down, holds my iPad safely, remote contol is very handy. I find it on the heavy side to move despite the wheels at one end, though Mr mct1 has no problem. It will store nicely under a Kallax unit but we mostly leave it out because we have a space for it.

I can't find it on Amazon.ie but I see plenty of similar looking ones. A return could be easier there if it doesn't meet your expectations.

This is mine, ridiculously good value, even cheaper than when I bought it.

I don't have handrails, if you were unsteady on your feet I would say they would be good to have. I have mine currently in the sitting room on the wooden floor no issues and hopefully it will be ok in the shed on the new floor and not too spongy.
