Recommend a solicitor dealing with elder abuse

I’ve a friend who is very concerned about the standard of care for her mother given my another family member. The rest of the family show no interest and the GP will not speak to her. She wants to speak to a solicitor. Any recommendations? I’ve connections to the legal world myself but haven’t turned up anything.

I think the local public health nurse would be more appropriate, a health-care professional to review the situation. You do not need a GP referral.
