Hi,
Its that time of year again and I need to change all 4 tyres. Can anyone recommend a good midrange tyre as the ones I have at the moment arent great. Also know of any suppliers you can recommend?

thanks

I'm running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A in that size - they're wearing reasonably well (not half way worn and 22,000 km covered on mixed roads). They grip really well wet or dry but can be a little noisy on the older, rougher motorway surfaces. I've no idea what they cost though.

I've read excellent reports on the Goodyear F1 assymetricals.

I've had excellent service from Kimmage Tyres on Sundrive Road in Dublin - if they don't have it in stock, they'll get it and their prices are usually keen. I'd shop around on price though and tell your supplier of choice if you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

I've no connection with Kimmage Tyres by the way....
