One stands out: State Savings - National Solidarity 10 year Bond, First Issue. Paid me 50% tax free! Since then, I have always had a few bob invested with State Savings.

If you're interested, the next time that I'm passing through Cahir, I'll call in and tell you about the rest of them! But I'll need strong coffee, and a large box of tissues!

Now that's a rabbit hole that I'm giving a wide berth to. (Although I was tempted!)

Anyway, the deed is done and Jack Chambers will shortly be receiving a bit of extra money from the Marsupial family vault. (to be squandered on Irish language advertisements about "info@bowelscreen punc ie" among other offerings of exceptional cultural merit! Interesting to note that the link has been viewed 52 times in 2 years).
