Reasonable Wear and tear

I mentioned here before that I do not have all the receipts for a house I am renting out. However I itemeised all the contents and the total comes to between 10K and 11K ....Is this the norm...?? If I claim 12.5% of this as wear and tear am I in the right ballpark?

It's hard to say, not knowing the size of the property and the extent to which it is furnished.

If your estimates are reasonable, you have some receipts and you're not trying to pull a fast one, you shouldn't have any problem.
