The people purchasing our house have had contracts with their solicitor for over 2 weeks now. Is there a reasonable timeframe within which they should return these? We want to sign and get things moving cause our new house is nearly ready. Estate agent is giving silly excuses like their solicitor went off for a long weekend without telling them etc. but still hasn't given a date for when they will sign.
Can we hurry the process up? I've put a call into my own solicitor, waiting for him to get back to me.
