Reasonable request for an accountant

Hi
I’ve given my accountant my figures for the RTD. Is it reasonable to provide her with receipts etc throughout the year so she can handle these instead of me. We’ve only worked with an accountant since last year and I don’t know what services they provide.

It is entirely up to you what level of service you want your accountant to provide. However they are probably charging you at least €50 an hour, possibly much more. A very expensive way to deal with invoices.

It is perfectly reasonable to send them your receipts and let them sort through it. It is also perfectly reasonable for them to charge you for it.

It is up to you whether you want to spend the money on outsourcing this job so you can do other things instead.
