Quickstep Laminate floor - Impressive ultra

We are planning on installing a laminate floor in our refurbished kitchen/living area. The space requires 42m2. We chose this one. It is expensive for a laminate so I want to make sure we get it installed professionally.
I have been to a local store (dublin) they have a list of fitters but I was not impressed by the salesman.
Has anyone installed quickstep flooring and if so can you recommend a supplier/fitter

Sorry I can't give you a recommendation but would say that if possible you try to buy from store where they have their own fitters. Probably not too many of them around as most of them appear to just, as you say 'have a list' so if there is a problem with the fitting you would have no come back with the store. As its an expensive laminate best to play safe but I would imagine it won't be easy to achieve.

Don't let that put you off the fitters, he may not know them and they may not know him. A lot of fitters will leave their cards in shops in their local area. If the shop gets bad feedback they'll no longer hand out those details.

That may well be in general. But good fitters are very busy and shops want sales. I wouldn't always rely on them being scrupulous about recommendations. I recall when redoing the bathroom we got "a list" form a reputable (and good) bathroom supply store. I wasn't impressed by the few we were in contact with and we sourced a good plumber ourselves who was very satisfactory.
Also a well known national budget kitchen company has quite varied reviews from different parts of the country - apparently to do with variations in the quality of local installers on their lists.
We are not around Dublin but we got flooring from a store that fits themselves. Probably not the cheapest upfront but they stand over the goods and the workmanship.
In the OPs position I would either look for a store that fits - or search for fitter recommendations locally.
 
Thanks for the advice. Yes I looked at the quickstep site, but a lot of their ‘fitters’ are just the same company who has the list not actual fitters themselves. Also the website is very badly out of date with a lot of sites no longer offering the service. I was hoping for a more recent recommendation.
 
I can highly recommend Quickstep, we've floors down for years as good as the day they were laid. Too far for you I imagine but we used MJ Reck near Enniscorthy - excellent sales and fitting team. We've just moved house and plan to use them, and Quickstep, again.
