Can someone explain to me what "registration of transfer and mortgage" is for? It's quoted of 625+125 for mortgages > 385K? Most of the other headings make sense (like all the stamp duties, searches and stuff), but this one i don't get....
This refers to the land registration into your name, this is charged by the local council and is a set price depending on the purchase price of the property you are buying.
