Hi in the questionaire that a person has to fill out regarding applying for life assurance it asks about family history, parents, brothers, sisters, alive or that have passed on having any cancer or other illness but it doesnt ask about grandparents, aunts, or uncles.
Does anyone know if you have to let the company with whom you are taking out the insurance with, about illness or cancers that aunts, uncles or grandparents may have. When it says disclose information about family members do these include aunts, uncles, grandparents ect.
Thanks

It normally just requests details your natural parents, brothers or sisters. It usually relates to medical conditions sufferred before hte age of 60.

However if you think it is relevant you can disclose any other information in the application.

Kind regards
