Query regarding change of job

Evening All,

If a pre-2004 public servant moves job (e.g. new school, new hospital), does he/she retain pre-2004 status (e.g. the ability to retire at 60 on full pension)?

And what are the main considerations for someone moving jobs (and organisation) within the public sector?
