Qualify for Carers Allowance.

Hi there

I have moved back home to care for my elderly parent!! I am self employed and my job is in software so i can work from home and keep within the 15 hour limit for the Carers Allowance.

I have my own property rented out with a monthly income and have savings of 90K.

Is it worth while applying for it based on the above.

If you feel you will meet the means test requirements then you may as well apply for it.
