QA contract rates in dublin

Hello
I am job hunting as I lost my permanent job last week. I see some contracts offering 325 Euro per day. As I have never contracted before I am unsure as to if this is a good rate. can any one advise .

Thank you for the reply. its testing for banking systems - oracle based.
I was just this second told to calculate at 325 * 230 days making 69,000. This sounds good even before taxes and other deductions.
I guess if I am to persue it & hopefully get it I will need to join an umbreall company.

OK, just saying QA is way too vague. You might get other poster who can help who work in the same area.
 
I would say it is a good competitive wage although a lot depends on experience/conditions etc. I would recommend you ask a few people in the job when you start about how to sort out your accounts. Failing that ask a current contractor if you know one.
